Figuring that I only have a limited time left in the Pacific Northwest, I figured that I'd take a drive up to Seattle to visit my NIH buddy, Erin. We managed to pack in quite a bit of fun, including the Pike Place Market, the Seattle Underground Tour, the Experience Music Project (EMP), and the Science Fiction Museum (SFM) and Hall of Fame, amongst others.

Seattle's original plumbing leaves a LOT to be desired The Seattle that was
The toilet was invented by Thomas Crapper. Apparently, Erin really had to go. It's hard to imagine that there was once a life before Starbucks and before Microsoft
The Seattle Space Needle, with the EMP/SFM at its base. The EMP/SFM architecture looks like it was created by someone on acid. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed within the EMP, so the only picture I managed to take was this tower of guitars.
At an evening karaoke session, Erin rocks out and expresses her love for hooters I rock out to some Bon Jovi
