I think I only really look half-way decent when I'm in the presence of great company.

I guess somethings just don't change. Mark's still a zombie, Claudine's still an Elvira-Morticia hybrid, and I'm still a psychotic mess.

a happy conlusion to California AIDS Ride 8 A successful end to the California AIDS Ride 8. From left to right, that's Tyler, Mark, Betsy, me, Trisha, Rand, Viv, Erick, and Wes. Extra special thanks to Trisha and Viv for feeding us like kings (and a queen, in Betsy's case) after a grueling, yet incredibly fun bike ride.

I felt rather studly taking this picture right here. To my right is Claudine, and to my left is Viv. When we took this picture, the two of them wanted to show off their newly pierced navels, and I, of course, wanted to take a picture with two sexy women.

My family at SWRCB

This is my family at the State Water Resources Control Board, where I once worked. This picture was taken just after we finished my directorial film debut. If I had enough space and bandwidth, I'd put a link to the movie here, but I don't. Anyway, from left to right, that's myself, Sonny (my boss), Marie, Mary Ann, Eddy, Jill, Harini, and Ray. We're pretty much the computer staff past and even-more-past (since I don't work there anymore) plus Ray.

Betsy, here, has quickly become one of my closest friends. She and I met while we were both involved in an organization called MAPP. MAPP, itself is an eclectic bunch, but we're also one big happy family. Betsy and I, especially became close friends. Actually, living arrangements became quite Melrose-ish when some of us moved into a house and found out that her (then) boyfriend was our mystery housemate. Gasps, laughter, and cheeriness thus ensued. Anyway, this is a picture from our MAPP Prom (yes, MAPP is *that* demented), to which Betsy and I went as each other's dates.

a lovely bunch

What a colorful bunch of friends huddled together on Halloween night (bet you couldn't figure that out!). Of course, the mental hospital escapee is me, Gaby is the lovely elf (or whatever she is), Jeff is the all righteous and omnipotent preacher, and Robbie's the fireman. Little note about Jeff: He's very...special. By that I mean, demented, but in a nice way. To see an example of his...lovable nature, click here

This is me along with my friends Thomas and Lillian. Our fathers were best friends in grade school, so the three of us eventually became pretty close friends as well. Even though one of us lives on the opposite side of the country from the other two of us, we still keep in contact. This picture was taken just before we each enterred that really odd place known as college: Thomas to UCSD and Lilian to UVA.

My folks and me How can I have a page about myself, and not include my folks? Like all parents, of course, they can sometimes get on my nerves, but most of the time, they're pretty cool. My mom and dad met and fell in love at Purdue University, so there was, of course, mild disappointment when I decided on UC Berkeley instead of Purdue.

This is the coolest cat that ever lived. Boogie lived to be about 13 years old. In case you didn't know, that's pretty damn old in cat years. But, he lived a exciting life. How many cats get to move cross-country from Kentucky to California and live in three different houses with the same exact family. Boogie is still sorely missed.
