Royal China

Pros: Excellent food, some unique Dim-Sum dishes

Cons: Often crowded

Whereas Canton House is a great place to be introduced to Dim-Sum, Royal China is great place to truly indulge. Tucked away near the residential section of Chamblee, it's not hard to miss this place. Once you find your way into the restaurant, however, you will be greeted with some amazing food.

You will find your typical Dim-Sum dishes here, although on our visit, we were mildly disappointed that there was no Tofu Hua (tofu in a gingery-sweet syrup). On the other had, we had an amazing jelly-filled coconut roll, a unique dish not often found in Dim-Sum restaurants.

Although the setting offers a very cozy atmosphere, around Dim-Sum time on the weekends, this also means that the restaurant gets quite crowded and can mean a serious wait time for seating. Additionally, we happened to go on a day in which some sort of local celebration was happening, which increased the sense of crowdedness.

If you can fight the crowds, this is a place that you really can't go wrong when it comes to Dim-Sum.
