Pros: Excellent food for reasonable prices, live music on weekends

Cons: Likely a slightly watered-down Cajun/Creole experience, not-so-healty

We were first introduced to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen out in Arizona, and we were pleased to find another one when we moved to the Atlanta area. The menu offers a great mixture of surf and turf with a southern flair. One of our favorite appetizers is the Fried Alligators. With the Cajun/Creole focus, a vast majority of the dishes offer some fried goodness. This also means that you will likely be ingesting a large amount of butter, grease, and other heart-attack-inducing ingredients, but if you do die, you will die a happy and satiated person.

As with any chain, it's debatable how authentic this cuisine really is. If you have friends from the Bayou, this probably is not the best place to take them to try to impress them. However, the Pappas chain does offer a rather impressive array of restaurants to satiate your palate.
