Cons: Frozen vegetable sides, smokey dining room

We decided to visit this place on one of our rare steak cravings. We read some fairly good reviews of this place and decided to try it out. We were greeted by very friendly wait staff. The dining room, itself, seemed a little smokey. Fortunately, it was smoke from the freshly grilled and sizzled food, and not from cigarette smokers.

The entrees, themselves, were fantastic. We ordered Bombay Sizzled Steak (one of the specials) and a Blackened Tilapia. Our only complaint was that the vegetable sides that came with the tilapia seemed obviously from frozen vegetables. The rest of the food was fantastic. The steak was very tender topped with sizzling sweet onions, and the fish was seared with tasty spices. Possibly the show-stealer, however, were the magnificent garlic mashed potatoes that came with the steak.

The night we visited, there happened to be live music. A guitarist was playing some instrumental versions of pop-rock hits, so depending on your taste of music, this could be exciting, or this could be nauseating. The noisy atmosphere does not quite contribute to a romantic atmosphere, but the restaurant does seem to cater very well to families...large families at that.

Overall, this is an excellent restaurant at which to entertain friends and family.
