It seems that most Korean restaurants in the Doraville area need you to know a little about Korean cuisine before you really dive in. Han Il Kwan is no exception. Be sure to bring someone well-versed in Korean food (and preferably even speaks a little Korean too).
Once you get past this, however, you will be greeted to some fabulous food. The Bulgolgi offered up beef cooked with the perfect blend of spices and flavors: spicy and tasty. Our favorite dishes of Dolsat Bibimbap and seafood pancake were prepared excellently. The portion sizes are pretty big, so be prepared to take home some leftovers (and they still taste great a day later).
As we sat, we saw some hot pot dishes being served to other tables. Although we did not order these dishes, they definitely peaked our interest. Plenty of people around us were eating these, so we gather that the hot pot dishes must be fairly popular. Thus, next time we come here, this will be one of our endeavors.
